Ang serye ng mga batayang aklat sa Araling Panlipunan para sa lkaapat hanggang lkaanim na Baitang ay nakabatay sa MATATAG Kurikulum ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (Department of Education o DepEd) para sa mga mag-aaral sa lkalawang Yugto ng Pagkatuto (Key Stage 2).

lsinaalang-alang ang mga mithiin ng kurikulum at sinundang mabuti ang mga isinasaad nitong mga nilalaman, kasanayang pampagkatuto, pamantayang pangnilalaman, at pamantayan sa pagganap.

Ang serye ay binubuo ng mga batayang aklat na may magkakatulad na balangkas at pagkakaugnay-ugnay para sa mga mag-aaral sa para sa ikaapat hanggang ikaanim na baitang.

Layunin ng serye na hubugin ang mga Pilipinong mag-aaral na maging mapanuri, produktibo, at responsable sa lipunan, na may malalim na pag-unawa sa kanilang kultura at kasaysayan, pagmamahal sa bansa, at kaalaman sa mga isyung panlipunan at pampolitika.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga makabuluhang aralin at mga angkop na aktibidad na nakapaloob sa mga batayang aklat, hinahangad ng serye na maituro sa mga mag-aaral ang mga kasanayan tulad ng kritikal na pag-iisip, pagsusuri sa mga sanggunian, at pagbibigay-solusyon sa mga suliraning panlipunan.

Bilang mga guro, lubos ang pagpapahalaga ng mga may-akda ng seryeng BINHI sa pagtatamo ng tama at angkop na edukasyon ng mga batang mag-aaral na Pilipino.

Samantala, isinaalang-alang din sa paghahanda ng bawat level ng serye ang layuning maging katuwang ng mga kapuwa gurong nagtuturo ng Filipino sa pagpupunla ng pundasyon at pagpapayabong ng mga kaalaman, kasanayan, at pagpapahalagang magagamit nang marapat ng isang bata para maging mahalagang bahagi ng kaniyang pamilya, ng lipunang kinabibilangan, at ng Inang Bayan.

Ang pinagyamang edisyon ng Binhi: Wika at Pagbasa ay alinsunod sa pinakabagong K to 12 Gabay Pangkurikulum at Ortograpiyang Pambansa ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino. Sa pagbabalangkas nito, unang isinaalang-alang ang mga bagong kalakaran para masinop na mailakip ang dagdag na mga kaalaman at kasanayan sa kabuuan ng bawat level ng serye. Pinanatili ang spiral approach sa dahilang ito ang pinakamabisang pagdulog para sa mga batang mag-aaral sa elementarya na nagsisimula pa lamang sa pagkatuto ng mga aralin sa wika at mga kasanayan sa pagbasa. Tiniyak din na ang mga kasanayan sa pakikinig, pagsasalita, pagbasa, pagsulat, at panonood ay malilinang sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng aklat.

Bagaman ang pangunahing layon sa pagbuo ng seryeng ito ay maging instrumento sa pagkatuto ng mga batang mag-aaral, isinaisip din ng mga may-akda na maging abot-kamay sa mga kaguro ang mga kabatiran at maraming pagsasanay na agarang magagamit sa paghahanda at pagsasakatuparan ng pagtuturo. Makatutulong din sa pagpapagaan ng paghahanda ang paggamit ng Gabay sa Pagtuturo kung saan nakalakip ang mga mungkahing gawain sa pagtuturo ng pinagsanib na wika at pagbasa at ang mga gabay sa pagwawasto ng mga pagsasanay.

BootCamp is a computer series for Grades 1 to 6 learners. The Dynamic Series in MAPEH elementary series adopts the principles embodied in the Department of Education's prescribed K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum that focuses on the learner as a recipient of the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for artistic expression and cultural literacy. Lessons and activities in eacn book are student-centered and are based on a spiral progression of processes, concepts, a skills and grounded in performance-based learning. The books, particularly Music and Art, are designed to ensure effective learning through active participation and performance, creative expression, aesthetic valuation, critical response, and interpretation. They teach the learners to acquire essential knowledge, attitudes, and skills that are necessary to promote good nutrition, to prevent and control diseases, to prevent substance abuse, to reduce health-related risk behaviors, and to prevent and control injuries with the end-view of maintaining and improving personal, family, community, as well as global health. Whenever possible, develop mentally appropriate, learner-centered teaching approaches are used to teach the lessons in Health Education.

Ang EDUKASYONG PANTAHANAN AT PANGKABUHAYAN (Dynamic Series in HELE) ay batay sa K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum na itinakda ng Department of Education upang linangin ang kaalaman at mga kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa mga larangan ng Entrepreneurship, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Agrikultura, Edukasyong Pantahanan (Home Economics), at Industrial Arts. Isinama sa seryeng ito ang entrepreneurship sa lahat ng bahagi ng Home Economics and Livelihood Education. Nialayon din ng seryeng ito na palakasin ang mabuting relasyon sa loob ng pamilya, komunidad, at bansa.

Ang bawat batayang aklat sa serye ay idinisenyo upang linangin ang literasi, kakayahang komunikatibo, kritikal na pag-iisip, mapanuring pag-unawa sa iba't ibang uri ng teksto, at pagpapahalaga sa sariling kultura ng mga mag-aaral. Sa pamamagitan ng mga tekstong makabayan at makabagong pamamaraan ng pagtuturo, tinutulungan ng Makabagong BINHI ang mga mag-aaral na maging handa sa hamon ng makabagong panahon na kasabay na pinagyayaman ang kanilang pagkatao bilang mga responsableng Pilipino at bilang global na mga mamamayan.

Pinagtuonan ng nasabing kurikulum ang tatlong pangunahing ideya-ang mga ito ay ang Literasi, Wika, at Teksto. Isinaalang-alang ang mga ito sa pagbabalangkas ng serye.

Gumagamit ang seryeng ito ng mga progresibo at integratibong pagdulog na pinag-uugnay ang mga aralin upang makamit ang holistikong pagkatuto. The series of books in MAKABANSA for Grades 1, 2, and 3 is based on the MATATAG Curriculum. MAKABANSA is the newly coined learning area for learners in Key Stage 1 covering Grades 1, 2, and 3. It is a transdisciplinary curriculum wherein its scope covers Civics, Arts, Culture, History, and Physical & Health Education.

The new Makabansa learning area will mold the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of learners that they will need in building oneself and cultural awareness.

The series aims to develop active, healthy, and creative learners through developing critical skills based on deeper understanding of Civics, Arts, Culture, History and Physical & Health Education.

In general, values related to one’s identity, creativity, health, and interaction with fellowmen and other aspects of the society will lead the learners in being holistic Filipinos equipped with the 21^st century skills.

Ang serye ng mga aklat sa MAKABANSA para sa Unang Baitang hanggang sa lkatlong Baitang ay nakabatay sa MATATAG Kurikulum. Makabansa ang bagong katawagan para sa asignatura sa Unang Yugto ng Pagkatuto (Key Stage 1) para sa mga mag-aaral mula sa Unang Baitang hanggang sa lkatlong Baitang. Ito ay isang transdisiplinaryong kurikulum, sapagkat saklaw nito ang Sibika, Sining, Kultura, Kasaysayan, at Kagalingang Pangkatawan at Pangkalusugan.

Ang pagpapakilala sa bagong asignaturang Makabansa ay huhubog sa kaisipan, kasanayan, at pag-uugali ng mga mag-aaral na kanilang kakailanganin upang malinang ang pagbuo nila ng pansarili at pangkulturang kamulatan.

Layon ng seryeng ito na mahubog ang pagIgmg aktibo, malusog, at pagkamalikhain ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng paglinang ng mahahalagang kasanayang hinango sa malalim na kaisipan ng Sibika, Sining, Kultura, Kasaysayan, at Kagalingang Pangkatawan at Pangkalusugan.

Sa pangkalahatan, ang mga pagpapahalaga sa pagkakakilanlan, pagkamalikhain, pagkamalusog, at pakikipag-ugnayan sa kapuwa at sa iba pang aspekto ng lipunan ang siyang aakay sa mga mag-aaral sa landas tungo sa pagiging holistikong Pilipinong taglay ang ika-21 siglong kasanayan.

       Aligned with the competencies derived from the Enhanced K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum of the Department of Education, the new New Dynamic Series in English has as its primary goal the integration of the reading and grammar skills. It has been designed to develop, enhance, and enrich the five macro skills, namely Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Viewing, thus making the learners grow into competent English communicators and dedicated lifelong learners.

     All the lessons and activities in each book in the series are aimed at empowering the child to learn, lead, and create with technology, equipping him/her with skills essential for his/her academic success, gainful employment, and global competitiveness. Through the variety of stories and other literary pieces that are used as springboards for each lesson in the series, it is hoped that the child will develop a desirable attitude towards himself/herself, his/her home, and his/her environment, and subsequently recognize and appreciate his/her national identity hat would reinforce positive values and attitudes every Filipino child must uphold.
